PostCard Bay offers Free file check to all our customers to ensure your printed postcards are produced with the highest quality, so your business looks amazing.
Color
All of your printing files should be submitted as CMYK. This is because your art is printed by combining cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks, often referred to as full color.
Resolution
As with most printers, we require files to be at least 300 DPI, this is to ensure your art prints sharp and clean. Lower resolution results in softer and sometimes blurry printing.
Postal Layout Guidelines
If you plan to include postage or address blocks on your custom postcards, standard postal layout clearances must be preserved to keep critical text and barcode areas unobstructed.
Bleed & Margin
After your art is printed, it's trimmed to its final size. We require a .25" bleed and at least a .25" margin to ensure important text or graphics are not cut off or too close to the edge.
